Summary

The results for the EIC Accelerator’s October 2024 cut-off:

  • 71 companies have been selected for funding. 
  • 79% of applicants have been selected to receive €226 million in the form of blended finance.
  • The total requested budget by the 71 companies is €387 million. 
  • The success rate for full applications was 5.86%
  • Almost 21% per cent companies have a female CEO, CTO (Chief Technology Officer) or CSO (Chief Scientific Officer).

The overall success rate is 5.86% This is because the success rate for short proposals submission must be considered. However, there is no publicly available data for the number of short proposals submitted.

Blended Finance Winners by Country 

For the October cut-off, 56 companies have been awarded blended finance and 5 companies have been awarded equity-only investment. 19.6% of the winners are based in the Germany region and 18% are based in Netherlands.

For the October cut-off, 71 companies have been awarded. 24% of the winners were part of the Health Biotechnology sector and 17% were AI, Data & ICT.
